For drying after washing, our high-spin dryer works with high rotation, a long rotor and many blades. Particularly thin-walled films can be dewatered well in this way. The internal friction dissolves any remaining contaminants and these are removed by the automatic cleaning system with the spun off water.
With the high-spin washer from Pla.to you can clean and dewater at the same time. Because films are becoming thinner and thinner all the time, the surfaces to be dried are always larger. This requires high peripheral speeds. In order to meet this requirement, we have developed an extra-long rotor with many blades.
The Pla.to rotor has an integrated fan and a wear-resistant design. The fan generates a large flow of air, which pulls the film through the machine while also absorbs evaporating water. At the same time, the residual contaminants are removed from the surface by friction. The automatic cleaning system automatically removes contaminants from the dryer along with the spun-off water.
Enormous centrifugal forces and speeds are necessary for the high performance of the dryer. These forces are applied by extremely stable rotors made from thick-walled tubes, improving the cleaning performance. Another advantage is the new design of the perforated baskets, resulting in a dryer final product.
A rotating scraper constantly cleans the screen and the housing of the dryer, enabling uninterrupted operation and high availability. Polygonal filter baskets increase the effectiveness of the drying process. The basket and the basket holder are made of stainless steel to guarantee a rust-free product.
We offer different models depending on the requirements and material. Performance levels depend on the grain size and thickness of the material.
